New restaurants near Santa Monica Beach.

Santa Monica PierSanta Monica is blessed with great restaurants.  There are already many wonderful places to eat downtown, on the Third Street Promenade, and in the Santa Monica Beach hotels.  But a new development, opening on  August 6, is bringing some of the Bay Area’s most popular chefs to the area -- and you can dine under the stars on the third-story roof deck.

Flea Market is opening on July 18, at Dodger Stadium.  The Grand Opening will be a memorable one with three bands, nearly a dozen gourmet food trucks, a celebrity yard sale, and more.

Five hundred vendors are already signed up.  There’s space for up to 2,500.  And the venue can accommodate as many as 25,000 flea market aficionados.  Eventually, it may give the Rose Bowl Flea Market a run for it’s money.
