Spend Labor Day weekend in Yountville with Thomas Keller.

If you’re serious about food, you probably know all about Yountville,
the tiny Napa valley town
with some of the country’s best restaurants. Three of these -- The
French Laundry, Bouchon,
and Ad Hoc -- are the domain of Thomas Keller, named the Best Chef in
America in 1997.
When The French Laundry won three
Michelin stars in 2006, Keller became the only American chef to have
two restaurants with three stars. The other is Per Se in New York.
Always fresh and imaginative, Keller’s cooking never fails to amaze.
And 60 lucky American Express cardholders can spend Labor Day weekend
with Keller, eating his incredible food and learning technique directly
from him.
The Bocuse d’Or USA Foundation, whose mission is to
inspire American culinary excellence, is sponsoring the event.
Proceeds from the weekend will help support the Team USA chefs who will
compete in the Bocuse d’Or competition in Lyon, France.
The
weekend starts on Friday night with a
tour of The French
Laundry’s beautiful gardens and an al fresco dinner in the gardens with
Keller. On Saturday
morning, participants will go to the Culinary Institute of
America’s Greystone campus where Keller will give a private cooking
demonstration. That
evening, guests will enjoy canapés in The French Laundry courtyard, followed by
the legendary nine-course tasting
menu.
The activities conclude on Sunday morning with
brunch at Ad Hoc. Tickets for the event are $2,750 per person or $5,250
per couple and were available at press time here.
They probably won’t be available long.
